yah part 2- n much much much more meaningful. when we touched down on brisbane, somehow i felt more at home le. is like everything is simpler here, n i was super excited to c e house tat my brother has been living in. one of richard's buddy is a COD pro, n i mean fucking pro! he is in jedi clan which plays competitive gaming back in singapore. getting to watch him play is like... omg.. he really frags all e pub players with ease. there was once, he killed one, n was backstabbed.. not even panicking, he SIMPLY turn around , n shoot e opponent in e fog! e enemy died within seconds b4 i could even say "wow". i also got to c another of richard's friend ,ah lim, own his opponents in this game- LOL.
needless to say, the first thing i did was to visit the Brisbane casino. when i saw e casino, i immediately felt a great surge of luck coming into my body from the air. this is mainly due to e casino looking more medieval, n it been called the TREASURY. while working in MOF, the building was also called the treasury. hence with e familiarity, i could not help but be charged up internally.
spent most of my times at Brisbane in e Treasury n had a great time there. got to c a lot of poker pros n drunkard fishes. i played only roulette n poker, with a net gain/loss of $250 aussie dollars for every 1.5 hours. the rakes there were reasonable, n i could play at ease, unlike in Crown. e dealers were also super friendly, n they will chat with us.
of coz i did not juz spend time onli at e casino. i also went shopping n my brother bought me gambling chips n cards n table felt. i also visited my brother's school. it really has e Harry Potter feeling, n i can't help but feel envious for my brother over e past few years ( while i have been suffering in NTU). I also went to e famous Gold Coast. swam there alone, while my brother (needless to say), took photos of the Gold Coast. e waves in Gold Coast r v fun to play with, n i really wished i had also opted to study in australia. i would have gone casino 4 times a day n the Gold Coast once a fortnight.
coming to brisbane reminds me a lot of my stay in Paris. truely an adventure. but i was disapointed tat i could onli stay there for a week. esp when i stayed in europe for almoz 2 months, 1 week is really nothing comparable. well e consolation is tat i get to play l4d with my sg friends once more.. Australians r truely friendly pple, unlike e europeans.. also it has relatively okie food prices if u noe where to find them. e weather there is also good. even in summer, the wind is strong n it is not humid at all!
