e nice vs castle decision was killing me,but finalli i decided to come with a decision n juz stick with it. i will go for both. yeah! felt so happy once i booked e tickets n commit. but it means i am going nice alone..which is actualli quite dangerous.. but guess will have to protect myself more..
last 2 days went to china town n chatelet. juz now i flied a kite on gabriel but it was realli not on purpose.hoped he understands.. today is e france sales!!! bought é bermudas,underwear n slippers with 50 percent discount. they were even cheaper than in spore; n so nice too. bermudas S25,slippers S20; underwear S6. worth it...
more things to buy in time to come... e sale last 6 weeks.. so can wait. 2 shirts i intend to buy drop v little. it was 65 euros each,but now drop by onli 10 euro.. but realli like it n if they dun drop;think i will still buy them.

Castle Invasion v.s. Beach Retreat
talking abt childhood dreams, i realli want to go visit e castle. n e sch is bringing us there this sat. imagine e castle walls,some broken by catapults of e past,knights in shinning armour,soldiers with their spears,dragons n princess, n seeing e tactis of how pple attack a castle juz like in lord of e rings n e fantasy books. also would like to c how e different walls form many layers of defence n c how e soldiers retreat from one to naother n finalli to e last stand!
but problem problem.i dun have time. is either tat or niche beach-another muz go area. have already reserved train tickets to e beach. n it is also v meaningful to me;coz i realli felt so happy when i watch e show e beach acted by leonardo. also going to nisse will remind me of my never forgettable times in NS days when i hang out in phuket with e orcs. pure shores...it is a nice song.

weekends in paris
it has been a week in france alreadi.haiz how time flies. i love paris in e summer... juz a song i heard on e boat travelling ard e effiel tower.
sat was e sch trip going to e effiel tower n e mohmad again. but this time i got to climb up e effiel tower. we onli had 15 mins to meet up again from e top of e tower,so me a few taiwanese n hk pple n mike chiong down e effiel tower stairs instd n it was fun! deffinately making it more meaningful than taking e lift down. we took a few photoes along e way too,then chiong again; Song!
mohmad was e same thing again,but i actualli look forward to it again coz i realli appreciate e music the musicians play while looking at paris from e top. i am e king of e world! took a lot of videos of e music. there was this weird lady wearing a crown too asking for some donations. videoed her as well. later we had a good meal n i drank a lot,noeing the bus will bring us b. e white wine was great. got tipsy a lot man.. oh chantelily j;;papapapalala...
next day was an accompishment of one of my childhood dreams-to go to disneyland! paris disneyland consists of 3 different section n we onli had time for one section n did not get to complete e section even! bought 2 star wars t shirt which looked real cool. e 1st 2 rides were not so good but served as a warm up. e phantom manor was like so unscary,tat we were all seriously frightened tat all e rides were going to be so pathetic. but later on e rides we took were fun. e space mission2 was a real triller,indianna jones too,n there was star tours-an representation of star wars! pirates of carribean rides is good too. triller rides aside,we had a easy rides to relax in e small small world,glimpsed a bit of lion king(cannot miss this,i regreted missing this),saw aladin n e nautilis things n played buzz lightyear n feel our way round alince's wonderland. went with rica,sean harold n their 2 gfs; sean n harold r realli fun pple,n we realli accomplish our goal to chiong most of e fun parts in tat section.
e whole day ,we were v giddy though. we chiong so much tat we had no time for a proper meal n ate a bit of bread along e way. came b int ard midnight starving like hyenas.

e morning class for next é days were boring. onli e history of france was interesting. did u noe tat e france pple originated from e gauls described in Asterix n Oblelix? then later a germanic tribe calles e franks conquered e land.today,germany n france r so different;despite e history. otherwise it was boring n i should have taken e morning to walk ard n appreciate e fresh air.
french lesson was embarrasing. i keep on pronouncing the words wrongli,one of them francais been pronounced as franchise in front of e whole class. the teacher was patient n nice though,probabli coz not much was expected though. but i can now recite 1 to 20 by heart. un de triox quatre cinq six sept huit neuf dix onze duex trioze quartorz quintorze seize dix-huit dix-neuf trent..yeah! e alphabets i never bother to noe how to pronounce,but it is quite similar to english(ang-gor-le)..with a few exceptions like y=yi grake.
anyway e festival of music was good,too bad i came to chantelet a bit late. i saw some slow salsa dancing too with non salsa music. i wanted to throw down my video camera n dance too,but to my horror,i forgot all my salsa steps liao. i make it a point to come e next day to watch them dance e whole day n refresh my memory.(i came e next day alone ,but to my disapointment,there were no more dancing but instead lots of porno shops with shop titles of DVD n dispatch); we also saw chinese singing christians songs n i teased zai yao abt meeting his fellow countrymen. i enjoyed watching e brazilian dance of capeiro(i think i spell it wrongli). i wished i had enjoyed this festival with my salsa friends b in ntu,but then again,maybe e time is rite for me to stay away for a while n catch up with my lost kungfu.

Train trouble
our 3rd day in int, we gathered toe market at juvicy to hang ard; kind of fun, e market goods r fresh, e sweets n pastries r unique. Meat too,rabbit meat is v common there. c a few dogs too. one thing i realise abt e dogs here. most of them r local breed n v nice. cannot find in spore. n europe is v dog friendli. the dogs here even noe how to cross e road by themselvesusing e pedestrain crossing. i try to make a ^pt of taking pics of every local dog i c. saw a golden retriever too,which reminds me of Baby(cocoa's fav male dog).due to e seasonal weather,e gr hair was shaved totalli n did not look so majestic to fit e temperature. or maybe it is juz this dog... I bought some pastries to share with e INT management pple coz they did not get to go. Sadli,they did not like it v much;too sweet they say.
We went to notre dame in e afternoon. a few other students joined us to form a large group of 16 pple. one from taiwan,1from us ,1from korea n & from hk. they had difficulty understanding our sporean jokes coz it is rather mixed. they even tot singlish was an official language with la as e most common word.
Not our best trip,but e most memorable so far. we seemed to be cursed tat day with e train railway system. firstli,e american Michael was lost in e train n did not come out at e rite station. we all waited for like half an hr there b4 he came back to our station. wat happened was we were seperated a little at e train coz of e crowd. when we alighted,he did not,n by e time he realised it,e door was already closing.helen shouted to him to go to e next station n come b,which he did. along this time,wei shiong n jiajun took another train to e next station n tried to find him. e moment they left,Michael came b!so we waited for jiajun n wei shiong. i find this whole incident v funny.
Tat incident turned out to be onli e beginning,n e 2nd incident was not so funny animore.after visiting e famous church in notre dame,going mohmad to visit a cathalic church n having an expensive lousy dinner ,we went moulin rouge juz to take a pic there. then we took a train to Gare du Nord n waited for our train back to Le Bras de Fer.e train never came. in fact there was lots of confusion among us as e sign boards keep on changing. one moment,they display tat e next train will go

continuation from previous entry
previously on GSS,
got cheated of 20 euros at e airport. n worse thing is did not realise it then. outside once we exit(sortie) out of e airport, i felt high n great thanks to e wonderful weather. it is so cool n better than e air con in e airport even. we had a ride to INT n there was no way we could communicate with e bus driver. at this pt, i realise tat there is a significant communication barrier as most of e locals here do not understand english. anyway. e INT own form of jcrc greeted us in sch n showed us ard after we had been allocated our rooms;pretty relieve to c tat e power pts r 2 hole as i forgot to bring my adaptor. mingli joined us ard this time after having alreadi explored france for 10 days,some of them by herself!
at our hall,kerin n I met up with this guy from some funny country called algor something,his name is sidip,n later we c him hanging out with a lot of pple all e time.he has this cool sey,n if gss is a drama series,he proberbli has a character like some of e prison break guys,very different from e INT "jcrc" pple hu intro us ard e hall. he offered to bring us ard paris,but i think he did not noe then we r a v big group,so it is hard; but i took note of where he live n intend to visit him someday. he looks like e sleazy kind hu seem to noe where e underground cqsinos r. can ask him next time after i settle down.
had a lousy dinner tqt day at a nearby place like ntu's JP. a sporean guy joined us hu has studied in INT for 3 yrs.
2nd day,we went to get our internet account after breakfast; bf was gd esp e capacino. i also enquired abt e bridge clubs here n will receive more info in time to come. I am realli exciting to visit the clubs,can imagine e french pple doing a triple squeeze on me,then i will be like merci,mercy! we then visit 2 monuments,one of them i forgot wat it is called but it is a place to commemerate the soldiers hu gave their lives for france: e other is e effiel tower. We did not ride up e effiel tower coz INT is bringing us there again this sat. but 2 interesting things happened there. 1 is we saw e free hugs pple tat was shown on youtube. we wanted to go hug them but they happen to leave juz when we r abt to go.wasted. 2nd interesting thingis tat rica was wondering ard when a reporter wanted to interview her in french. on instinct,she get the reporters to interview linsien instd. i think they were trying to talk more abt e tower n were looking for foreigners for interview. We had a good laugh later as we rememlbered how stress linsien was esp when her french was not so good,though e best among us.
mingli realli proved to noe a lot abt france after 11 days as she brought us ard e complicated trains system ard paris.there r so many colours of railway,not like spore so simple. she even brought us to a localised area for pastas n pizza.e meal was superb n cheap for europe std. i had my 1st taste of escargots,not v magnificent;prefer oysters in ommelote in spore. but e lagsana n pizzas r great. e waitor even played ard with e utensils n clip it on his face for us to take pics of. so interesting..
e day ends here with us going back to sch.
I am now on my 3rd day n sch officially starts today. so far i have seen e other global summer students,from usa,hk,korea. e korean pple r from VT! a few hot chicks,but cannot realli tell yet as we were sitiing at e back juz now. later after lunch,going for french test to fail it. i onli noe bonjour n merci so far.
BTW,it is not tat i am becoming more stupid in france.it is juz tat e keyboard in europe is so diffICULT n diffERENT. e lettering n e control settings is weird like weird.

Euro Expansion-part 1-French schling
17 june 0100,we met in airport to get ready for our trip at 320am to paris. the journey proved to be real long taking almoz a day travelling. Qatar airways' food is good,though maybe too much bread. they even gave us a mini travelling toothbrush as souvennir which i liked a lot. the seats were a bit too squeezy for sleeping though,but i could sleep easily due to my nature n self trained talents. not tat i slept too much also as i was playing this caveman game (during e trip from doha to paris) tat i saw CF playing e last time in e bangkok trip. i even reached lvl25 n was completeli exhausted by e time i stop playing.
at e airport,i got cheated 20 euros by this duty free shop as i paid too much n he did not own up. tat was my first dealing with euros n i took it as a cheap lesson to be more careful for this gss. wat happened was i was converting e euros to spore dollar in my head,hence i gave euros in spore dollars. n tat bastard acted blur n juz return me e "proper" change. bought a harvey bristol creme for sing seventy bucks...man;;but at least i learn.
to be cont... now muz go for lunch appointment b4 going to paris!!!!

yeqh preparing to go france... actualli i have reach there liao.. but since my blog not updated for some time, i will rewind a bit...
not much happened.. as usual fuck up results,e usual me smacking n enjoying life no matter wat n catching up with old friends. during exam times, denis helped me a lot in passing structs 1... n a funny thing happened during exam time. I was almoz late for exam;still in hall 16 n 5 mins time is e exam in sports center. hg man. then there was this prof hu happened to be driving n i hitched his hike.. so grateful to him man: Another funny thing tat happened was tat my matchlaking btw my buddy n a dota friend i noe online actualli worked. they are still v mushy n muz farm together e same lane and spend more time calling each other dear here n there, n sharing their marriage ring(ror) ard. sadly they keep on dying in dota after they noe each other well. esp ken hu used to be one of my idol in dota, he realli lost it in dota alreadi. now he exists as e sworn protector of his dear dear lightning revanant,never mind tat our throne gets demolished n our sentinels territory is more like a soccer field while e scourge areas is like HDB with so many high rise buildings. i also played a lot with real pros after e exams,my ex-emo clan pple..
ok,dota aside, my life is good. but my bridge experiences r turning for e worse. with new teammates,somehow our affinity is not there n start losing badli. it was so demoralising in bridge when in spore open both ntu teams were looked upon as trash n got last for each respective category. but on e bright side,e ntu juniors,esp jason n guowei r realli improving n i think they showed hope for ntu in e future. i realli feel so bad tat the seniors let them down so much. Yonghao,Joseph-CF partnership,where r u all in e darkest times of ntucbc.. man.. interclub league we had a flattering start,thanks to lily,xinhui n alex pulling all e stuns i suspect on intention.. hopefulli we will continue to protect our division 2 status. i guess e onli greatest highlight of my recent bridge life so far is when shelly last min pulled me in for youth pairs tournament n we got 2nd by playing normalli.. could have gotten 1st even,but somehow i keep giving mps to e girls all playing for tat tournament.
Hall application realli pissed me off. Hall 16 realli fly an aeroplane on me;but luckily,in e end i manage to get in still. this regent is realli a loser, saboing me this way. I will take note of such pple n not pity them n befriend such pple anymore. not all pple can be treated fairly even though all pple r equal; i finalli understand. he did not even take e initative to tell me abt it till i had to confront him on msn abt the issue.
OK lah;.. generalli this r my updates.. think i rather talk abt my experiences in France; we prepared a lot of e trip; i think my gss friends r a little too kiasu to reserve so many things,but i guess sporeans will alwas be singaporeans;
not much happened.. as usual fuck up results,e usual me smacking n enjoying life no matter wat n catching up with old friends. during exam times, denis helped me a lot in passing structs 1... n a funny thing happened during exam time. I was almoz late for exam;still in hall 16 n 5 mins time is e exam in sports center. hg man. then there was this prof hu happened to be driving n i hitched his hike.. so grateful to him man: Another funny thing tat happened was tat my matchlaking btw my buddy n a dota friend i noe online actualli worked. they are still v mushy n muz farm together e same lane and spend more time calling each other dear here n there, n sharing their marriage ring(ror) ard. sadly they keep on dying in dota after they noe each other well. esp ken hu used to be one of my idol in dota, he realli lost it in dota alreadi. now he exists as e sworn protector of his dear dear lightning revanant,never mind tat our throne gets demolished n our sentinels territory is more like a soccer field while e scourge areas is like HDB with so many high rise buildings. i also played a lot with real pros after e exams,my ex-emo clan pple..
ok,dota aside, my life is good. but my bridge experiences r turning for e worse. with new teammates,somehow our affinity is not there n start losing badli. it was so demoralising in bridge when in spore open both ntu teams were looked upon as trash n got last for each respective category. but on e bright side,e ntu juniors,esp jason n guowei r realli improving n i think they showed hope for ntu in e future. i realli feel so bad tat the seniors let them down so much. Yonghao,Joseph-CF partnership,where r u all in e darkest times of ntucbc.. man.. interclub league we had a flattering start,thanks to lily,xinhui n alex pulling all e stuns i suspect on intention.. hopefulli we will continue to protect our division 2 status. i guess e onli greatest highlight of my recent bridge life so far is when shelly last min pulled me in for youth pairs tournament n we got 2nd by playing normalli.. could have gotten 1st even,but somehow i keep giving mps to e girls all playing for tat tournament.
Hall application realli pissed me off. Hall 16 realli fly an aeroplane on me;but luckily,in e end i manage to get in still. this regent is realli a loser, saboing me this way. I will take note of such pple n not pity them n befriend such pple anymore. not all pple can be treated fairly even though all pple r equal; i finalli understand. he did not even take e initative to tell me abt it till i had to confront him on msn abt the issue.
