NICE Beach--described by a 4 letter word

man,cannot explain how excited i was to go to nice.. esp i went alone..i realli have so much expectations for this. my expectations were met in this trip,n NICE realli turned out to be my hightlight of france,n most likely europe.
my first time travelling alone n i was not too sure abt how to take e train to there.but turned out it was easy. there was even a bed for me to sleep,thank GOD,for my feet was suffering from bruises after walking ard lourve musem n e military museum all day long. had a good sleep,but regretted not chatting up with some korean girls tat were sleeping next door. but they were rather shy too n i was rather frightened of my personal belongings been alone.
reached Nice e next morning n first thing was to look for e beach. i also decided to finalli take a hotel despite earlier plans to juz sleep along e streets overnight. shaun warned me how dangerous NICE was n told me of how e holigans frequent e places. he realli advised me to take a room despie e high cost of europe,n i think he finalli got me scared. so i book a hotel for 53 euros! then i go n explore e beach.
man,beach was beautiful... e sun e sea n e pebbles.. yes pebbles,not sand. there is no sand at all. e sea is crystal blue,juz like in phuket. everywhere u c westerners suntanning,with some not been shy to take off e bare top. there r koreans there too,probably southern france is near korea. i juz slept at e beach while day while covering my eyes from e sun. did not dare to swim in e sea coz was worried for my camera. a pity i did not get to c weddings like kerin ,jouh ginh ,rica n linsien saw,coz mine is on e weekdays.
finalli it was time to go to e casino n play with some chips! i allocated 250 euros in this trip for gambling,but turn out i onli had 150 to gamble with in e end coz i have been spending too much in e last 2 weeks. entering e casino was realli a little silly for me. i could not enter e casino even,coz they say i had no shoes. so when i finalli bought a pari of shoes,i realised tat i need to show them my passport. iwent back to e hotel again n took my passport n rushed back to e casino(very gian). by then,my feet were bruising badli already after all e added injury from walking ard nice after walking so luch e day b4. i think it is my slippers,i finalli understood e problem of been flat footed. i finalli reach e casino again.................n they told me i could not enter e cards session coz i wearing bermudas... v silly of me rite..
anyway,i spend some more time looking ard for pants.. my persistant paid off i finalli got a cheap pants for onli 10 euros(not cheap by spore stds though). so i entered in finalli,been so happy to get in. yes tat is how gian i was.there was noone playing blackjack yet. but many pple were playing stud poker which was completely alien to me. even english n french roulettes were both rather new to me. i had to observe e games for a while b4 i decided on english roulette. i exchanged my chips n decided to play passive. i played a standard routine of betting 5 times on red,b4 betting on black 5 times. tat way i figured,i could not lose much money.
few hours later,i was winning like ard 60 euros.i decided to take a rest n go back to e beach for a while. hence i decided to bet on numbers instead of e colour. something amazing happened here. i felt tat 36 was a very good number to bet on,n i pondered over y i had such a strong feeling over tat number. it quickly dawned on me tat my hotel number was 316. hence i took a chip n bet on 36,n took 3 more chips n told e dealer to help me put on trua, ure, six. e balled started spinning.... n landed on a number. i did not noe how to react but could not resist a soft yes..when i saw e dealer put e token on e number 1!! i won 35 times 5 euros juz in a round.. change of plans..not time to go to beach but to go to hotel to safe keep my money first.
an hour later,i walked from e beach back to another casino.however i was not allowed in again as this time e casino said i dressed too sport like. so i returned back to e casino ruhl n spend e rest of e nite there. this time,there was a table for blackjack,n i joined in. man...black jack needs skill,something which a greenhorn has no advantage in tat aspect. i lost 110 euros there. i also felt a little sleepy n decided to call it a day. i limped back to e hotel as my feet were bruising. i got a little frightened when a local punk approached me when i exited e casino. fortunately,he onli was asking for a cigarette.
next morning,i ate breakfast in e hotel prepared by e sweet french lady. too bad she dun understand english. anyway,i went to e beach again n this time i brought v little money n left my video camera n camera back in e hotel lobby for e staff to look after. i went to e beach n swam there. man u can realli feel e salt of e water,n e current there is so strong,i got washed ashore many times,as i day dream in e sea. but i was realli happy as i look at e ancient buildings of nice; n admire e beach at e same time. man i realli wish e orcs were here juz like old times.
i also chat up with 5 korean girls hu were at e beach. surprisingli,their english was better than expected,n i could converse with them a little. they gave me a banana n i tried this korean food they offered me. quite unique but rather spicy. it was a pity i had no camera or i would have taken a pic with them ,for they were hot.
e afternoon,i walked to a bridge club far away,n they allowed me to play in e tournament. finalli i get to play bridge in france!it was 6.50 euros to play.i started with a v good score,but a lecture from my p abt my 3rd hand 2Hpreempt with 12 pts n onli 5 hearts make me decided to play normalli for e rest of e competiton. anyway,e pple there were rather friendli,n i suspect some of them did gave me chance. i think my p n i got first,coz we had v good scores all over e place. e funny thing was i did not even noe whether it was imps or matchpoints! i keep on asking my p if it is match pts or imps,n she juz keep on replying to me in french tat i am sitting on north...
well it was time to go back. i got a tourist to take pics of me in e beach b4 i return back to paris. by e time i reached sch,it was 930 n i decided to go for sch straight with all my stuffs.

my heart is stepping too deep into paris

e rest of e weekdays was spend shopping,hanging abt in chatelet;sleeping in e field n going to e museums. there r so many museums in paris,tat e pple hunger for knowledge,or have any form of craving for artistic or historical values should make a point to go paris at least once in a life time. there r juz so many museums,including e ever so famous da vinchi code mona lisa pic in lourve musem. there r also interesting museums like military n erotism museums,which we explored. we also went to china town ,which was not v nice compared to spore's one.
got to noe e other international students better too,esp mike,mirani,eva. there r this 3 american girls hu were cute too n silly grins were often exchanged. i chose to go lourve musem with mike n mirani n wat a good choice it was. all 3 of us were equalli "interested" in e art works n we scanned e museum within a day,which was almoz impossible considering e enormous size of it. mingli spend 3 days to explore e museum,n even tat was barely enuff.
went to loire valley on sat too. e castle was disapointing. too grand n is actualli more of a palace. i was looking more for medieval castles actualli. np..next sat we going to saint michel n monte carlo n hopefulli there will be castles there more medival.last resort i will skip sch a day n go to places which def. have such castles.
