Austria-Paradise

slept a lot during e long journey to austria..but no one was complaining..for we were all so tired. one thing i realli admire in wei shiong n linsien is their knowledge in travelling. somehow they noe which train statin to stop n which lanes to change. we almoz miss a ffew trains....n they helped us narrowli escape.
After been to france n italy for so long, austria is like so out of e world,in a good sense. it is like such a paradise n everything is so clean,law abiding n friendli. the things there r so much cheaper too,things there r like onli a bit more expensive than in singapore! i still cannot imagine my first few hours in Innsbruck, happy n light hearted,finalli relieved to be in such a good environment. e mountains are so beautiful,it onli strengthens my love for austria. we checked in n slept for it was late.
Austria is very cyclist friendly, n u see bicycles everywhere in their own lanes in e roads. Jiajun, Wei shiong, Gabriel, Linsien n Shilvia split up from e group n went cycling. Shilvia was a little hesitant,but she finalli decided to go. Cycling in Innsbruck was one of e finest moment of e whole GSS trip. E mountains n scenery are so nice, n e tracks r easy to follow. We cycled around and stopped to visit the zoo and the crystal exhibition. e alphine zoo is e tallest zoo in europe, n somehow,i think fate played a joke on us by making us lost on e way to e zoo,n we make a detour n had to carry our bikes up to e zoo. when we reached e zoo, our legs were cramming like mad.
e cystal exhibition was a sight to behold with crystals everywhere. We were actualli late n not supposed to be allowed to enter,but e receptionist saw how tired we were by cycling tat she allowed us in. austrians are v nice pple,n tat was juz another incident. We were a little slow because we wasted too much time for e alphine zoo and our cycling speed s less than expected. shilva realli cycled v hard...but her smaller physical attributes proved to be an obstacle for her to cycle at e same pace as us. half e time, she was cycling real hard n jiajun is behind at e same pace taking pictures or eating at e same time! But her determination overcomed all obstacles n we all made it to e exhibition juz over time. i bought some souvenirs at e exhibitions there for my parents.
e next morning,we all woke up early to see e sunrise in e mountains. We were all already so tired, it took a lot of persuading n 2nd tots b4 i decided to go. it is free,which was y i decided to go in e end. E cycling gang cycled to e shop to return e bicycles b4 running to catch up with e bus. we caught up with rica n e rest but we probably juz failed to meet up with e bus. I was secretly very pleased n relieved when we had to go b..tat is how tired i was alreadi! e rest of e day,we juz slacked ard n shopped a little b4 we head to salsberg.

Salzburg..i will alwas remember this place for e sound of music tour. n i did not even watch e show yet! it was rather awkward when e tour guide asked hu has watched sound of music more than 10 times, n many pple raised their hands,including e woman next to me. but e tour guide was v funny n i like his jokes..
Mr n Mrs Hill brought their family to a castle on a holiday. They decided to stay there n asked e vampire there for accomodation. The vampire Dracula agreeded readily n showed them to their room. dracula then chatted with them n prepared dinner for them b4 asking for permission to leave.
tat nite, Mr Hill woke up from his sleep with terror. he woke up to c Dracula happily sucking up e blood from his wife hu was sleeping soundly juz next to him! Mr Hill was about to scream when to his sorrow,he saw his children all dead,n hanging in e closets nearby. He fainted, n Dracula pierced Mr Hill with his hidden tail. Dracula went on to suck e blood from e hill family beforeburying the whole family at the rear garden of e castle.
Well, burying them was hard work n Dracula needed a break. He poured for himself a glass of champagne n highly satisfied with himself,he decided to play his piano b4 sleeping. He played e music for a little while,b4 he felt a stab in his head. he turned around in agony n saw e Hill family behind him! they cursed him n keep on beating Dracula to death. Dracula could not recover from e initial stab n with e remaining strength,he asked Mr Hill how they revive themselves. guess wat the whole family answered.....

I like e jokes a lot..n tat was one of e jokes he said. i felt like an idiot not watching e show then. later on, we went to wolfstangang lake n e sight is beautiful,not altered at all from e show.

e next day..i decided to slack in e hotel watching e show sound of music. i could not enjoy it though for wei shiong n gabriel shocked by by getting me to go to wolfsgang lake. somehow i gave them e wrong impression i wanted to go there, but touched they detoured to get me to go,i left n went there instd. Over there, gabriel accidentalli broke one of the souvenirs but e shopkeeper said it was ok! Gabriel decided to buy a mug over there which was rather expensive.

We then took a train to Vienna,e capital of austria. we juz walked around vienna b4 taking a plane back to Paris,which was a reason y we went to Vienna. Goodbye Paradise Austria. I will come back one day.
