23th may--i shoot the 2nd red dragon to glen in his house tat day for his 13th wonders... super fast,, it was only e beginning of e mid stage of e round.. n it was supposed to be super safe.. jaws went wide open when i saw it.. somemore,is i shoot one! sianz lah
but it certainly brought b memories of how i did my 13th wonders also.. n it was glen also who gave me e 13th wonder! so it was like... e return of e favour... man...
e best thing was... he already announced to e whole table he was doing e 13th wonders.. n he still did it so fast.. he started with i think 8/9 tiles formed only...
still won a bit from tat nite though.. but oh man, wat a nite..luckily, i did not shoot one bamboo.. i starting to be scared of feeding e one bamboo.. has happened a few times.

naturally,oh yeah
yes,yes,yes..i passed..which means i finally graduated...oh oh oh yeah.. sweat... e last few nites in e last few weeks... man they were a nightmare..sleepless nites cannot sleep n worry abt results... n to finally c e wonderful remarks of graduation... phew.. shout for joy, no more studying!
erm, a horrendous recap of my uni days..
came in youthful n energetic.. not ever wanting to study.. so playful, n never worry abt exams or quizes till e day b4.. naturally,did not do well.. but passed..
first 2 yrs was spent as an enthusiast learning contract bridge, naturally,i won a lot of prizes n awards externally n internally.. but wat mattered was not abt bridge ..it was e learning process. after all, i have already quit bridge. one of my bridge comrade went on to be a top notched national player in bridge. it really showed how passion can drive wonders n energy into a person.
3rd yr onwards, my results went downhill all e way. it was a combination of e tough modules, picking up of new things like mahjong, salsa n dota. performing for ntu salsa en snyc was actually e most fun times in ntu life. dota was fun too, but it turned out to be only a foundation, as it was ironically outside ntu where i found my dota buddies who really have this affinity of winning,no matter wat. mahjong... well,i seemed to have a flair for e game. n every nite, even during exam days, play like nobody's business... i did e 13 wonders in hall 16 too.. oh yeah. but actually, learning mahjong was super meaningful becoz... i always perceived mahjong to be something out of my league.. want play mj muz speak crudely n a bit ah beng tat kind. also, i get to c how fast i learn mind games, using e same approach i have been adopting towards bridge e past 2 yrs
so u can imagine, a uni life of play play n play.. n oh yah.. sleep, n more play,. n watever time i have, take a nap. naturally, i failed modules after modules..sometimes i smile even when i c e results.. chemistry n computing was e ultimate.. i took each subjects 5/6 times b4 passing.
oh yah,did i forget to tell u, i also went to Paris for GSS programme. awesome... who says uni cannot be fun... only e results viewing is not fun.
Final year, woke up.. start studying hard.. barely passed most of e subjects.. but still pass.. e most scary is my FYP. i did not even do my fyp progress report,which constituted ard 25% of e final marks. e fyp report i handed up was with full of disapproval from my prof n moderator too. i had to redo e fyp report within a few days, n tat was only through luck tat i got to even redo.. i think, had i not redo,i would have stayed b one more sem for fyp report alone.
This is one of e worst reports i have seen so far..honestly. e moderator said to me on e day of presentation. It is not of university standard at all!-he continues.. this 2 statements will always remain in my mind..
well ok lah.. now everything happy happy le.. kai kai xin xin, it is abt time to pursue my dreams.
